Tony Wade
RN, BA, M.Admin.
Director, Client Liaison
Tony Wade has 28 years experience in
health care environments, encompassing roles as a clinical service
provider and service executive manager, researcher and consultant.
Tony
also has extensive experience
as an advocate and
researcher in health issues from a consumer and
carer perspective.
In addition to
current registration in nursing, Tony holds postgraduate
qualifications in public and private sector
management theory and practice. He is an
Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Services Executives
and a member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia.
Tony also holds an honorary appointment as a senior lecturer in the
School of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland.
Tony set up
Australia's Health P/L in 1989 and since that time has consulted to, and
participated in, many multi-stakeholder health projects in Australia
across a range of health priority areas and service types.

Dr Derek Weir
RN,
BA, BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD. Director, Research
Derek Weir has over thirty
years experience in quality clinical, teaching and research activity
in the health sector,
in roles as a registered nurse,
university academic in health professional
education, clinical and theoretical researcher in health
interventions and health outcomes and volunteer stakeholder
representative. With degrees in psychology, biology
and psychiatry, Derek has considerable clinical and research experience in the biological
and psychological aspects of illness. He has conducted
many education sessions for consumers and health professionals
on
the promotion and maintenance of health, and has published in both areas.
Derek is skilled in research design and
analysis, and provides support to a range of groups in
applied and theoretical health research.
Derek has been Director of Research for Australia’s
Health P/L since its foundation in 1989. Since
that time he has supervised and delivered multiple research and
consultancy projects for health clients using collection and analysis of
quantitative and qualitative data. |
