Over twenty years, Australia's Health P/L has conducted both small and large consultancy and research projects for a broad range of clients.  Here are a few recent examples:

2005-9
The Building Healthy Communities Initiative of the
Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing developed community strategies to improve healthy lifestyles and address chronic disease risk factors through 31 projects in remote and very remote Australian communities.
With Morgan Disney and Associates, Tracey Whetnell and Wis-Wei Consulting, we provided support, training and evaluation services to the Initiative.

  2007
Environmental scan and stocktake of non-government organisations (NGOs) working in Commonwealth funded mental health programs. This project was designed to assist in identifying current capacity and gaps in the sector, and potential resources and tools that might assist future sector development. Conducted with Nova Consulting, the project involved extensive document research, resource analysis and consultations with stakeholders and organisations.
  2005-8
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
Quality Use of Diagnostic Imaging (QUDI) Initiative: Projects CS1 and CS4. These projects involved extensive stakeholder consultation and literature review to develop recommendations to the College about roles for consumers in College accreditation processes (CS1); and strategies to improve consumer information about diagnostic imaging (CS4).
2008
Review of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Framework
(2002).  With Nova Consulting and Wis-Wei Consulting, we conducted national consultations with key stakeholder organisations, reviewed the current policy and program environment, and developed recommendations to the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing for the future development of the Framework.

  2008
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
Quality Use of Diagnostic Imaging (QUDI) Initiative: Project CSO6. This project examined the role of the radiologist in Multidisciplinary Care Teams (MDTs), using breast cancer treatment as the context.  We conducted extensive literature review, visited and consulted with stakeholders, clinicians and teams, to review key factors and develop recommendations to the College.
  2007-8
Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) for Arthritis and Osteoporosis
(with the Sansom Institute, University of South Australia). A systematic review of QUM for arthritis, and for osteoporosis, followed by a national stakeholders workshop.  The project led to the development of education modules and guidelines for QUM in these conditions. Funded by the Australian Government under the Better Arthritis and Osteoporosis Care Initiative
